Mriga Luna is an Istanbul based jewelry brand which uses various metals, precious & semi precious stones and combines them with different techniques. The brand's main inspirations come from astronomy, nature, myths, anything sci-fi and fantasy.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Mriga Luna was born while I was daydreaming at Law School in 2009. After graduation and training on jewelry design in various schools and workshops, in 2013 Mriga Luna came to life.
In Sanskrit 'mriga' means orion constellation ( my favourite) and also deer same as my name. And 'luna', moon in Latin, defines many conversations I had with her over the years like a long lost friend.
In my designs, I visualise what I want to create, which technique I should use, how should it feel on person, what quirkiness should be in it so that it would make you smile while you wear it or pause a conversation.
